We can’t stress enough how much we recommend bridal portraits for ALL brides! We talked to Chelsea a bit about her overall vision for her bridal portrait look, how everything came together for the shoot, and what she looked forward to the most. She confirms our sentiments:
“I was so excited for my bridal shoot! Its basically a dress rehearsal for the wedding. I had my makeup and hair trials scheduled that morning which I highly recommend for every bride. I got to see the full look all together and of course it was another opportunity to wear my dress.
I absolutely had a vision for my bridal look. A bridal consultant recommended that I try different style dresses to be sure and so I did, but nothing matched what I envisioned. I ended up with a custom gown that I designed which was a lot of fun. I worked with DeFrance Couture for both my gown and custom veil. I knew I wanted a fit & flare with lace details and lots of beading. As for hair and makeup, I had an idea but Pinterest helped me pull it together with pictures I could share with my stylist and MUA.
I can honestly say I loved my entire look. I didn’t aim to look like anyone else. My dress was exactly what I wanted. The fit was perfect. Hair and makeup was exactly as I pictured. I felt so beautiful!
I had lots of friends that had taken pictures with Pharris Photos, and your work truly speaks for itself. When I found out you were a husband and wife team and heard your story and how passionate you are about what you do, it was an obvious decision. I felt so comfortable with Kariss during my bridal shoot and we loved all of our wedding pics! I can’t wait to work with you guys again!”
We get such joy from hearing that! Chelsea was an absolutely stunning bride on both her bridal portraits and wedding day. If you didn’t get a chance to see her and Aaron’s beautiful wedding, do yourself a favor and visit the blog here! We promise it doesn’t disappoint!
