Laura and Philip met on their grueling journey in law school. He always likes to say that they “found love in a hopeless place!” But no matter how rough the law school ride was, Philip had peace about Laura being “the one.” He was never one to believe in love at first sight, but this was different. Laura on the other hand, said “I love you” 3 weeks into dating, but didn’t want to place any labels on their relationship for 9 months!
When labels did come into play, they took it even more seriously. The two strived to build their relationship on biblical principles, especially purity and honesty. They made it a priority to speak truths into each other’s lives in their highs and lows to continually seek Jesus-joy in life. Laura helped Philip grow as a spiritual leader, and Philip encouraged Laura to see herself as a prized child of God. Amen!
