It was a couple of days after Valentine’s Day 2019. Drew set up a couple’s night out at the Murder Mystery Cafe. He’d surprised Jalissa with one of her line sisters and her husband, whom she hadn’t seen in a while! She was was absolutely ecstatic and grateful that Drew was so thoughtful to arrange their reunion.

The group then dove into solving the mystery. They laughed, followed clues, sang, and had tons of fun. After an intermission, one of the actresses asked if Drew still wanted to ask his question before the show continued. Jalissa thought it was time to bribe the characters for clues, so she gathered her play money and prepared to take more notes. She was determined to win. She faintly heard Drew speaking about them, and couldn’t help but wonder what it had to do with the mystery. Curiously confused, she turned to face him. Drew was down on one knee asking her to make him the happiest man in the world.

Shocked, she asked him if it was real or part of the show. When he assured her that he was genuinely asking, all she could say were curse words. After some help from their friends, she stood up and said yes. She definitely won, even if she totally botched the mystery murder game!
