When I asked Tequia and Sam how long they’ve been together, they glanced at each other knowingly and giggled. Let’s just say Tequia made Sam chase her! And there’s NOTHING wrong with that. The lines of when they became “official” are a bit blurred but, just look at them! No matter the timing, they are better together and capturing their engagement session was so fun!

Tequia was sure that Samuel would propose on a special trip they were going on to San Francisco during Labor Day weekend. It seemed like Sam was onto her because to her surprise, on a seemingly ordinary Thursday before their trip, he grabbed her in his arms and told her to close her eyes. He then asked her if she would be his wife while holding out a beautiful ring! Tequia enthusiastically said “YES!” This couple GLOWS together, and their lively energy exudes from their session.
