Isn’t it crazy how life can change in an instant? You could be totally single just living life and suddenly, in a moment, everything can change. I know Ivory and Howard can relate with their very rom com/hallmark-esque introduction. I want to take you back to the pre-covid days of parties and celebrations, can you picture the bustling room, colored lights, small appetizers, and eye popping decor? Okay now that you have the right picture of the context I can get into the story.
I’ll start this story by pointing out how Howard is a man who understands the importance of punctuality (which we love to see). So when the ticket said the doors opened at 8pm you can bet he was there at 8pm. Alas, he was unprepared for the journey ahead of him. Time seemed to drag on as he patiently (or maybe not so patiently) waited for the party to begin. It was now 10pm, two hours later, with no Erykah Badu in sight. According to Ivory, it was no wonder to those around him that he was less than thrilled. Ivory took it upon herself to tell him that his wait was far from over as the birthday girl would surely being coming in at midnight on the dot. Howard was in disbelief, so much so that he bet her lunch that she was wrong. It was that day Howard learned to always listen to a woman when it comes to parties and grand entrances. I will tell you that I have to wonder if Howard knew all along Ivory was right but wanted to take her to lunch and who could blame him? She is absolutely radiant (which you can clearly see in their images). Maybe I’ve watched one too many rom com’s but I think it’s possible! This lunch turn into a relationship and this relationship has now turned into marriage! We’re so excited to watch these two enter into a life together. Also look at it this way Howard has already learned the hardest part of marriage which is the wife is always right (hehehe right Josh Farris).
