Toni & Craig are an absolute STUNNING couple! What a dream it was capturing these two across the beautiful backdrop of the Olana venue! Here is what I learned during this shoot, this is Toni & Craig’s world and we’re all just living in it! Let me tell you their world is overflowing with love and care for one another and as their photographer I couldn’t get enough of it!

Toni and Craig decided one evening to take a peaceful stroll around their favorite lake. Craig, knowing what was to come, but also not wanting to make it obvious, asked Toni to come sit with him and “take in the beautiful sunset” (I wonder if that was in the moment improv or a planned line to not seem obvious). It’s important to note that evening walks were a regular occurrence for these two, which made what came next even more shocking. So there they are sitting together (and I imagine Toni’s head on Craig’s shoulder) in the lush green grass and then Craig turns and casually asks Toni like it was any other question, “How much do you love me?” and without blinking an eye (I imagine) she replied, “I love you with all my heart.” Craig followed her answer with, “Do you love me enough to spend the rest of your life with me?” as he pulled out the ring box from his left pocket. Craig’s words explain the rest better than I could when he says, “her beautiful eyes tried to hold back tears, as she was also processing the shock of the happy surprise. To my great joy, she said “YES”
