It’s been over a year since quarantine and I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that we’ve been in this for a year and a half. So much of life changed so quickly and these four mamas were in the thick of it all. This Pinterest worthy friend group started with their husbands being good friends and evidently the wives were soon to follow. If the trials in COVID didn’t already bring them together, being pregnant AND going through COVID brought them together to another level.
From The Mom’s
Here is what one of the mom’s, Gina, told us about the experience, “We developed a very close relationship during COVID as we were all pregnant together and 3 of us had our babies within a week of each other and Raquel had her son 3 weeks later. All four of us cried together when rules were constantly changing in Labor and Delivery, celebrated each other long the postpartum journey by sending celebratory gifts for large accomplishments, and laughed together when the babies did something funny or when we were ‘overly’ emotional. We communicated via a group text with 2 rules only: no pressure to respond and text at any time day or night. We want to book this session to celebrate life and this past year, which was probably one of the most difficult years, however without each other, I don’t know how we would have survived postpartum during COVID times.”
Hope Found in Dark Times
How beautiful is it that even in the midst of something as dark as a pandemic good still shines through with the birth of lifelong relationships and four beautiful children! I love the hope that we get to have in God’s promise to use all things for the good of those that love him and walk with him (Romans 8:28). I hope this story encourages anyone reading that God loves you even when he feels far and promises to turn even the darkest moments into good!
I mean just look at these precious kids! What a beautiful (and adorable) image of God turning hard times into four little miracles. And I mean was gorgeous miracles these kids are! I’m so thankful that I was able to be a part of this celebration and that these lovely woman took the time to tell me their story. I mean y’all should’ve seen us in the office, we couldn’t get enough of these cute faces! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do!
This is a stunning spread!
