Amina and Jason are an amazing example of friends to fiancés! This beautiful couple met shortly after high school at a Jack and Jill teen conference. Amina was in desperate need of a cell phone charger but couldn’t find one. Like any modern-day hero, Jason offered his. Little did they know that simple action would spark a friendship that last for years.

While in college, they maintained a close friendship. Somewhere along the way, they fell for each other. But it wasn’t until Jason finished grad school, that it was time to make it official! Who says best friends can’t turn into boyfriends?!

As sweet as this romance is, I know you’re ready to hear all about the proposal! When their families decided to spend the holidays together in 2020, Jason knew it was time to make his move! He knew Amina was the love of his life and couldn’t let the holidays go by without popping the question!

He showed the ring to her parents, and they were excited to help him plan the surprise! I think they were even more excited because the day of the proposal was also their anniversary! I love that they were eager to share their special day with Amina this way and it just made it even more meaningful.

So, after a romantic dinner on the water, the couple went back to their condo. Jason led them to a walk on the balcony, but he planned for Amina to see something other than the starry sky. Jason got down on one knee and pulled out the sparkling ring! Amina said YES and Jason’s hidden photographers got to work snapping photos of the happy and newly engaged couple!

I just can’t get enough of stories like this! It’s sweet, romantic, and almost too perfect for words! I am so excited for Amina and Jason, and I can’t wait to see their wedding photos!
