Jade and Jordan’s romance started in the DMs! You may not think it’s possible for something so wholesome and meaningful to begin on social media, but these two will prove you wrong! From connecting on Instagram, to this beautiful engagement session in Dallas, we’ve got all the details!

The DMs are poppin!

Jordan had been following Jade on Instagram for some time before Jade looked a little deeper. She checked out his page and he seemed like a nice guy, so she followed back. Not too long after, Jordan slid into the DMs to get the conversation going. He asked her to recommend a natural hair stylist.

At that time, she didn’t know that Jordan already knew her stylist, but she found out later. Jade wasn’t ready to date and told him so, but she didn’t say ‘never.’ It was a ‘not yet.’ When she went to her next appointment, she asked her stylist for a little inside info on Jordan. She wanted to know more about who he was and what he was about. Her stylist couldn’t say enough about how great Jordan was!

Jade was ready to take back her previous ‘not yet’ answer after that conversation! She started interacting with him more on IG and giving Jordan compliments to let him know she was officially interested. They started talking on the Gram every day, and that led to texting off the platform. Those texts turned into phone calls that gave way to their first date and they’ve talked every day since!

Getting closer

They’ve discovered how much they have in common since then! When I say these two are perfect for each other, I’m not even exaggerating! They both love movies, specifically Marvel movies. Jordan was impressed with how much Jade knew about the Marvel Universe. Jordan is a huge foodie, so they enjoy trying new restaurants together.

Jade and Jordan also enjoy traveling and exploring new cities. So far, they’ve visited Chicago, Milwaukee, and New Orleans! Besides traveling, this couple enjoys basketball and double dates with friends. By the way, if you know of any fun museums, let them know! They are excited to see some new exhibits!

A low-key proposal

Jade is not one for public proposals! Jordan knows that she gets embarrassed in front of crowds, so he made sure the proposal was quiet and intimate. Jordan proposed while it was just the two of them. With Snoh Alegra’s Find Someone Like You playing in the background, Jordan made his sweet proposal!
