Ashley and Josh’s wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th was oh so special for many reasons! This beautiful couple first met as children before being separated by relocation. The beginning
This precious love story began 20 years ago in the summer of 2002. Ashley’s family had just arrived to Texas after relocating from London. 11-year-old Josh was immediately interested in her and a crush was forming as soon he laid eyes on her. Their families spent more time together and the children grew closer over time through shared activities at their church.
Two years later, Josh’s family moved to the East Coast, putting hundreds of miles between him and Ashley. Nonetheless, that didn’t completely cut ties between them. They were able to keep in touch through text messages and social media through the years.
Reunited
In 2020, they were reconnected through an invitation to a virtual bible study for young Christians during the quarantine period. That first virtual bible study meeting brought back memories from their childhood and led to amazing conversations that made something very clear to them. Their reconnection was not by chance, but the will of God.
After that first bible study, they went on many amazing and fun dates. These two love to try new things together and have enjoyed cooking classes, hikes, and tandem bike rides amongst many others! When they were separated by distance, they even got creative with their virtual dates!
Ashley and Josh knew they were connected for a reason. God had plans for them all along and His timing was perfect! A little over a year after reconnecting, Josh surprised Ashely with a picturesque park proposal with family and friends! Then it was time to plan the big day!
The Wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th
Ashley and Josh’s wedding was captivating. The large venue had enough room for 1500 guests, making it perfect for small gatherings or large parties. They had many spaces to choose from within the venue, from ballrooms to private gardens!
