I don’t mean to give you, our reader, fomo but I can’t help it when talking about Angie and Charles’s relationship. While dating these to traveled the globe together and I find myself feeling the slightest twinge of jealousy as this season has kept me from doing just that. Talk about equally yoked, these two found a connection in their mutual passions of working out, experiencing new cultures, and serving in their greek organizations. You can tell that this connection is natural and easy for these two by the way they carry themselves in their engagement session. Couples that share such a deep bond make our jobs as their photographers so much easier.
Just by the way Charles proposed to Angie you know that he understands her and loves her well. It all started with him expressing his desire to get some holiday photos, because you can never be too prepared when it comes to the holiday season. Angie got the dress and the make up while Charles Coordinated logistics for the most perfect of days.
It all started at a spot that may seem unimportant to some but this little brunch spot carries priceless memories for Angie and Charles with it being the location of their first date. Knowing Angie and Charles it makes perfect sense that they would then transition to the gym to capture them in their true element. At last the climax of the shoot came when Angie put on her show stunning dress for their final location, the Mecom fountain by Herman Park. This gorgeous scenery brought on an atmosphere of romance and elegance. Then in an unsuspecting way, Angie turns to pose for the camera and as she turns back to Charles he was also posing, on one knee asking her to be his wife. I can just see the slow motion turning of Angie in her dress as she realizes what is going on. I love to image the look of gleeful surprise on her face with the fountain roaring in the distance.
What a joy to hear their story and capture their deep and rich connection for each other during our engagement session, but don’t take our word for it check out the magic in the photos below!
