Dominique and Chris’ glamorous engagement photo session was the perfect gift for the holidays! This couple was engaged in July and chose the Creative Chateau in Houston for their special photos. There’s always a story behind a photo and this love story is one you won’t want to miss!

Dominique and Chris’ love story begins in the historic Bourbon Street. Dominique was on her way to work, walking down Bourbon Street. Chris was also walking to work when he saw Dominique. He did not want to let her get away and asked for her number!

Since that day, they’ve enjoyed eating at their favorite restaurants and visiting different bars and lounges. This couple loves traveling the world together and spending time with their daughters! Over the years, they’ve spent a lot of time together and their love has only grown. Before they knew it, 10 years had gone by, and their love was stronger than ever.

Now, since this is an engagement post, you’re probably wondering where the engagement part of this story is. Don’t worry! I could never forget the most exciting part! On July 4th of this year, Chris’ parents had a HUGE party at their home and invited pretty much EVERYONE. Both Dominique and Chris’ families were there. There was even a second line band, a foot parade led by a brass band. Very New Orleans esque.

Dominique went into the house and came out a few minutes later. When she returned to the backyard, Chris was down on one knee, and everyone was cheering! Fairytales alway have happy endings and this one was no different. When you’re with the one you love, time really flies by as you make memories together. Dominique and Chris have already done so much together, and I know they have a lot more planned for the future!
