Meet the Family Behind Cookie Society | Lifestyle Session

Marissa and Jeff Allen are ready for the season! We love to see them come back time and time again for new family photos of their adorable family! They’ve got our Heirloom package, so they get 4 photo sessions a year. For this family session, they wanted some fun summer photos!

How they met

This happy couple met in college. Marissa played soccer while Jeff was on the football team. Being student athletes was only one of the many things they had in common. Through their years together, they’ve enjoyed traveling the world and eating together! Now that’s a combination anyone would love!

A delicious new business

Marissa has always had a love for baking, but it wasn’t until she tasted some amazing cookies in NYC that she decided to make the cookie to top all cookies! After that trip, she spent months perfecting the recipe for a chocolate chip cookie before moving on to a banana pudding cookie! Her cookie recipe book has hit over 70 recipes and the ideas just keep coming!

As the cookies kept coming, she enlisted the help of Jeff’s teammates (he’s a retired NFL player) to sample the tasty treats. We can imagine that these delicious sweets were the talk of the locker room! Outside of the locker room, Jeff and Marissa were planning how to take these cookies to the next level.

In 2018, she and her husband established “Cookie Society“. What once was just an idea, turned into dream come true for this husband-and-wife duo. They worked together to make their business flourish we’re excited to watch it grow.
