Let me just start by saying, Tyler is most definitely a planner. Let’s start this story a few weeks out from Labor Day Weekend 2020. Tyler (stationed at an airforce base in Texas) told Alexis (who is going to law school in Iowa) suggested that they spend the long weekend in Denver, CO together. You maybe wonder why Denver over other spots? Well Denver is none other than Alexis’s home town. Also during the conversation Tyler mentioned how he needed more photos of them together; and being the problem solver that he is, he planned a couples photoshoot for when they were in Denver.
So fast forward to the day of, hand in hand (or so I imagine) they walk onto the rooftop spot and to Alexis’s surprise are greeted with warm smiles by their closest friends and family members. Oh did I forget to mention that they were also greeted by a videographer, pianist, AND a balloon artist? See what I mean when I said Tyler was a planner! Among the gorgeous view and other decor there was a “Will you marry me” spelled out in eye catching balloon art (by none other than the balloon artist mentioned). Tyler really did put in the work to get every detail of this day right. But let’s not get caught up in the details and forget the BEST PART! Tyler pulls Alexis close and beautifully shares his heart in a speech with the ending being the big question and Alexis happily saying yes! Capturing these two together and in love at the Dallas Arboretum definitely had me grinning and excited for their big day!
